Excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under general supervision of a Field Supervisor in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner. Routine maintenance and repair to equipment in addition to other duties. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, back-hoes and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean ensure all equipment is in proper condition and field paperwork is completely in a timely manner.
Our CDL Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of our commercial vehicles. All applicants with a valid commercial driver license is expected to drive and operate a variety of vehicles from tractor trailers to dump trucks, haul trucks and other included tractor trailers. All CDL applicants are tasked with the safe delivery of their cargo or as well as ensuring that all cargo is unloaded safely, timely and efficiently.
This position is responsible to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul heavy equipment and fleet trucks used in construction, working primarily with diesel engines.
